The car started life as a 383 “N” code car, as you will see in the on the fender tag. However, the engine was swapped out with a 440 engine sometime back in 1988 when it had roughly 21K miles on it. The current 440 is however date correct, having an “F” stamped onto the badge. The 727 automatic transmission backing the 440 is numbers matching and original to the car, with 8 3/4 Posi rear end.
