This classic muscle car can be driven and enjoyed. Second generation, Buick GS based on a Skylark Custom. Now remembered as one of GMโs premier muscle cars. The GS also had heavy-duty suspension, Rallye Firm Ride and Handling. Posi Traction rear axle, 3.08 gears. 4-barrel carburetor 280 horsepower. 375 ft lbs torque. Compression ratio 8.5:1. Born to run on low-lead and unleaded fuel, functional hood scoops/ cold air induction and dual exhaust. Similar in displacement to the Chevy 350, Pontiac 350, or Oldsmobile 350; the Buick 350 V8 is a completely different design. It has deep-skirt cylinders, front-mounted distributor, external oil pump. The cylinder heads were very tall and skinny, which allowed for increased flow. The bore and stroke is 3.80 in x 3.85 in, making it just barely undersquare. It has the same ram-air induction system as the GS400 big block V8. Older Paint Job in L529 1972-1975 Fire Glow Orange. Original Black Vinyl Interior in excellent condition. Split bench seat.
