Orange 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Coupe 454cid 4 Speed Automatic
Gateway Classic Cars is fired up to produce this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle in the Detroit Showroom.
Everyone knows the Chevelle by reputation of what a muscle car should look, feel, and perform like and this gorgeous machine is a prime example of how it’s done.
The first thing that will grab you is this cars orange exterior paint job that shows off a glossy coat while being accented with black super stripes which is sure to widen the eyes of all onlookers and set the tone for this muscle car icon.
Under the hood of this monster lies a 454 cubic inch big block V8 which has been outfitted with an Edelbrock aluminum dual pane intake, dual feed performance carburetor, and an MSD 6AL ignition module to help give this beast extra juice to make the rear tires squeal.
The big block makes its exhale through an exhale through a set of longtube headers back to a true dual exhaust system which gives off a mean tone that this car is not to be messed with.
It is worth noting that the Chevelle has also been updated with a serpentine system under the hood held up by March Engineering brackets which helps propel features like power steering, air conditioning, and a one wire alternator with a more modern touch of reliability. Bolted to the V8 behemoth is a 4-speed automatic transmission that is operated by a racing style ratchet shifter to help operate and transfer the plentiful amount of energy to the ever-reliable 12 bolt rear end.
The interior is beautifully contrasted to the outside by featuring a tight and well finished vinyl upholstery and a restomod looking dashboard featuring a full set of Autometer gauges giving off far more accurate readings over the ones that came stock in 71′.
