Up for auction is my very clean 72 Chevy 2wd Blazer. This is a very solid and straight Blazer!! This rig is rust free!! This 2wd Blazer has been converted from a 4wd to 2wd using all 1972 1/2ton 2wd parts. Has power disc brakes and power steering up front with drop spindles and springs. The rear has leaf springs with a 12blt 3.73 posi and a flip kit. The conversion was done very well and the rig rides and drives great. The body had any and all rust removed and replaced with factory fit panels and massaged into what you see now then was painted Hugger orange base/clear. The paint turned out really nice as you can see in the pics. I had the Blazer professionally cut and buffed to give it that glassy mirror shine!! The Blazer was originally a Hugger orange rig. The firewall was left in the original factory paint . All of the exterior trim is new including both front and rear bumpers, new grill and insert, metal cowl hood,New windshield ect. The interior has the stock front and rear seats as well as the console. They were all re upholstered in a custom black and white with orange stitching. There are custom matching rear side panels as well. All new carpet, weather stripping ect. Has factory tach dash, tilt column,Comfort grip Corvette steering wheel,Retro sounds factory look 2 knob stereo with am/fm/usb and has 4 Rockford Fosgate speakers. The Blazer is powered by a great running 350 with Edelbrock intake,Edelbrock carb,HEI distributor . The motor runs great. Holds good oil pressure and never over heats in traffic on hot days. The transmission is a Th350 with a mild shift kit. I had the exhaust re done and installed old style Corvette ram horn manifolds and 3inch dual all the way out the back with Flowmaster mufflers. No dragging the exhaust on this rig!! It is tucked up nicely to insure no issues while cruising. Has Corvette rally wheels with 15×10 in the rear and 15×8 in front with 67 Disc brake center caps and rings. BFG tires all the way around. This Blazer runs and drives great. I have taken it on a 3hr road trip with no issues. It comes with a nice factory hard top that has been re done in the original texture and painted bright white with a brand new rear hatch and tinted glass. It always stays in the garage and driven on nice days so the top has never been on since being painted. I had plans of taking it to the next level with a LS swap but it is a great cruiser the way it sits. This is truly a turn key cruiser!! From what I have been seeing first generation 2wd Blazers are asking north of $30k!! I have priced this one fairly and to sell. So if you have been in the market for a nice clean turn key 72 2wd Blazer that won’t break the bank you might want to check this one out.
