Candy Apple Red 1974 MG MGB 3.4L V6 5 Speed Manual

Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this stunning example of a 1974 MG MGB Roadster.

The MGB is a two-door sports car manufactured and marketed by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four cylinder, soft -top roadster from 1963-1980.

This MG however is far from the original ideas the BMC had in store. This MG is the last year of the chrome bumper cars and shows incredibly well. Featuring a mesmerizing candy red paint job and very clean chrome and bright work this MG is sure to stand out in the crowd. The paint isn’t the only show-stopper, open up the hood and make sure not to drool on that diamond sitting in the engine bay.

This MG is sporting a chromed out and polished 3.4 Liter v6 motor mated to a T-5 manual transmission making this already peppy sports car really a blast to drive. Putting out about double the Horsepower to its stock straight 4 this MG has been fitting with all the necessary upgrades to get that power to the road.

The restoration on this MG was very intensive and focused mainly on the major components to any sports car, the drivability, and the appearance. Now for options this MG does not sport many just get in and go.
