Here we are listing our beloved 79 lil red express Truck. It is an All original

  • SOLID Truck.
  • It is an Adventure series, and has A/C (currently not working, but all hooked up),
  • Power steering and brakes.
  • It Runs strong.
  • Shows just over 45,105 miles.

When we originally Bought it in 2008, it had date coded tires that dated back 16 years prior. Those tires were still on it until 2 1/2 years ago, when we finally put new tires on it. So, we believe this to be correct, but are unable to prove it. It’s wearing its factory paint, factory bed wood(which anyone knows about these, they were painted red from the factory, and side wood(comes with another set of original side wood), primal carpet, seats etc etc.

Pretty much untouched other then; The exhaust tips, cherry bomb mufflers, headers(comes with original exhaust manifolds), and tires.

Here’s what’s recently been done in maintenance. Oil, filter Antifreeze changed, new brass freeze plugs installed (cause one was weeping) and we decided to change them all professionally. Ties (2 1/2 years ago and new brakes all the way around professionally done.

What it could use is the original carb rebuilt. It doesn’t smoke or make any weird Noises. Once she’s warmed up, she runs out hard and fast.

We only took her out a few times, so there wasn’t very many miles put on it in the last 12 years +.

As you can see, the California sun And heat has taken It’s toll on the seat Upholstery, but it’s original and it comes with Original replacement covers. We just never got around to having them installed.

Well, I think that’s about it. I might of forgot a couple things. But I think pictures are worth a thousand words. We were going to paint it at one time, so we got new side door decals, but we decided to leave it alone and leave the 40 year old Patina on it. The dash is always covered and in beautiful original shape!

She’s straight and rust/rot free! We think it looks good as is and she wears her battle scars well!
