1979 Volkswagen Beetle CONVERTIBLE
Volkswagen Beetle – Classic. Convertible. It had complete engine rebuild. In addition, new contact points, the engine was fully inspected and the following parts were replaced: oil cooler, valve cover gasket, pulley, v-belt, engine mounts, oil filters, distributor cap, oil filler tubes, vent, push rods tubes, stainless steel and dual port.
The interior cosmetics were extensively restored. Full kit upholstery (seats , door panels, et) and carpet were installed new. Dashboard cover and veneer red wood were also installed new, as well as door handles.
New 1979 VW Beetle specs-appropriate radio was installed. For security, seat belts and hardware were installed new. Steering system was inspected, and the steer bearing was replaced. The fuel system was inspected and it was impossible to find original parts for a fuel injection system so changed to carburetor system for VW (OEM) as such a new carburetor and intake manifold were installed.
In addition an electric fuel pump, fuel tank sender unit, gasket , accelerator cable and fuel line to chassis were installed new.
